TITLE :“Herod the Great”Original Quad Poster - Film Poster - Movie Poster - Cinema PosterSize : 30 x 40 inches / 76 x 101 cm approx. (BRITISH QUAD POSTER) YEAR : 1961 Director : Arnaldo Genoino (Viktor Tourjansky)Cast Info:Edmund Purdom, Sylvia Lopez, Massimo GirottiCONDITION :POOR - 3 cm diagonal crease across the top left corner along with a small crease, 2 cm V shaped tear on the top edge (left), small piece torn from the top edge (just right of the top of the left vertical fold line), approximately four tiny tears and mild creasing also on the top edge (heavier creasing near the left corner), 3 cm tear along with two 1 cm tears and a couple of tiny tears on the right edge, creasing to the tip of the bottom right corner, a couple of tiny pieces torn from the bottom edge, approximately three 1 cm tears along with a few tiny tears and moderate creasing/edge wear along the bottom edge, creasing to the bottom left corner tip, approximately three small tears and mild creasing on the left edge, approximately 21 pinholes along the top of the poster (mostly within the top white border and in the just in the yellow background below), approximately 18 pinholes along the bottom edge, approximately 10 pinholes near both side edges, pinhole just left of Herod’s left hand and another to the right of his right hand, some of the pinholes have circular rust stains from the original drawing pins around them, fold wear including a 1 cm wear hole at the left fold intersection and a small wear hole at the center fold intersection along with stress marks on all fold lines, numerous light Brown liquid stains on the back of the poster (mostly within the right half) a number of the stains are visible on the front including a 5 cm dark Brown stain near the top of the right border and thee 2 cm circular Brown stains around SYLVIA LOPEZ credit along with some additional staining within the credits block, as well as a 22 cm vertical liquid streak from the E in HEROD down to the bottom edge, 1 cm Brown stain patch on the chest of the woman with the outstretched arm, 2 x 1 cm rectangular piece torn away from just below the A certificate (with a 4 cm tear across it), a number has been written on the back in black marker pen which is lightly visible on the front (within the bottom of Herod’s tunic) and a number has also been written on the back in Biro which is only noticeable if held to light/backlit, a couple of vertical creases down through the two characters near the left edge, otherwise okay.
