(BRITISH QUAD POSTER) YEAR : 1960 Director : Ken Annakin Cast Info: John Mills, Dorothy McGuire, James Macarthur, Janet Munro, Sessue Hayakawa, Tommy Kirk, Kevin Corcoran, Cecil Parker, Andy Ho, Milton Reid, Larry Taylor CONDITION : ** This is a three colour only version of the 1960 full colour quad poster, indicating it was either quickly produced as they may not have printed enough of the full colour version or perhaps it may have been produced for a slightly later 60’s re-release? ** Some of the print from the heads of the two main characters at the top has created a light Brownish reverse impression in the white background left of center, and some of the print from the boys at the bottom has created a faint Brownish reverse impression below the boat (above “Robinson”) all due to the surfaces touching whilst stored folded for many years. Extremely tiny piece torn from the tip of the top left corner, tiny tear and very slight Browning/Brown speckles of damp on the tip of the top edge, 7 x 1 cm horizontal strip of patchy surface paper loss within the top border due to tape removal (near corner) and a similar patch near the top left corner, 3 cm tear along with approximately 9 tiny tears and moderate/heavy creasing on the right edge, Browning/Brown speckles of damp throughout the right white border, 2 cm triangular piece torn from the bottom right corner, small patch of tape adhesive staining across the bottom right corner, approximately 3 small tears and moderate creasing on the bottom edge, 7 cm strip of Sellotape across the bottom left corner and a 3 cm patch of tape adhesive staining on the bottom left corner, tiny tear and very mild creasing at the top of the left edge, additional creasing around both the left and right vertical fold lines (due to being folded out of alignment and refolded), very mild fold wear including a small tear at the center fold intersection, the title has been on the back in blue Biro along with Disney and there are two small Brown liquid splashes on the back also (only noticeable on the front if the poster is held up to the light / backlit), Browning to the back of a couple of fold lines and some additional Brown speckles of damp around the back of the left half of the center horizontal fold line (again only noticeable on front if held to light/backlit), otherwise very good.
